I Know The End

Have you ever watched a movie that you already knew how it would end? You knew that the main character was going to be victorious, they would get the girl, everything was going to work out, but you still found yourself in anticipation as you watched the movie unfold.

So often we question our future, our circumstances, our issues but we don’t realize that the end is already known. God has a plan, and He has already promised it. In Romans 15 Paul encourages the Church in Rome, which anxiety, stress, questioning are real and will arise within us BUT God has already promised us our future.

Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us. And the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. (Romans 15:4)

When we live with the knowledge of the Scriptures in our hearts and minds we don’t live with the concerns of today but the hope of tomorrow. If we know what God has done, what He is doing, and what He will do, we don’t have to concern ourselves with the anxiety that arises. You can trust God. He will fulfill His promises. This doesn’t mean life is easy or your circumstances are comfortable but that you know how the story ends.

What is happening in your life right now that causes anxiety? That stresses you out? Although the circumstance is real, it is stressful, are you seeing God in it and through it? He is there; He is walking through it with you. You have a promise that will be fulfilled, maybe not in your time or way but it will happen.

We live with the knowledge of the Scriptures in our hearts and minds we don’t live with the concerns of today but the hope of tomorrow.

Then all of you can join together with one voice, giving praise and glory to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 15:6)

When we read the Scriptures and keep the promises of God near our hearts, we can find encouragement and comfort. Are you reading the Bible regularly? I'm not talking about reading the verses that are read in Church. I'm not talking about reading the inspirational verse from social media. Getting into the Word, daily.

I will keep the word of God near my Heart, knowing what God has Done, what He is doing, and what He will do.

Today I want to encourage you; the Scriptures has the power to encourage you, to grow you, to fulfill you. Read the Word of God and watch as He reveals the truths you need to hear. You will be challenged; you will find comfort. It may not always be easy, but with God it is possible.
